VAPA (Visual and Performing Arts)
Students in grades TK to 3rd participate in visual or performing arts classes once a week for an hour. These classes are taught by roving district teachers who come to Linda Vista to provide these classes to our students.
Instrumental Music
A district-sponsored program brings an instrumental music instructor to the school twice a week to give lessons to all 4th and 5th grade students.
Link Up
Linda Vista's 3rd grade students also participate in the Link Up program for 30 minutes a week. All students learn to play the recorder and are invited to a culminating concert at the end of the year.
Musical Concerts at LVE
Linda Vista students are also exposed to a variety of music through special presentations at school. These presentations range from a Symphony Quintet to Mariachi performances.
